    * All the things that I recently love and enjoy *

About a couple of years ago I have created a Twitter account but I didn't find it interesting so I ignored and completely forgot about it until April of this year. I decided to give Twitter one more shot and now I am hooked. Twitter is my mini blog where I write about how I feel, what I am thinking and doing. I find myself constantly updating it. If you would like to follow me, here is my ID: @chick_fit

Ever since I found this website to listen to most of Perth's radio stations online a few days ago, I just couldn't stop listening to Triple J or 92.9 FM. Online radio rocks!

I love being a housewife. I love taking care of the chores that needed to be done around the house when Jason is at work because it's rewarding to me when he walks in the door after work and find the house all nice and clean.

I've recently become really interested in gardening and I have to thank Jason for this. We planted some trees and herbs in our garden about 3 weeks ago and they have been blooming and taking off really good. It is such a good feeling to plant something and watch them grow. Next on our garden project: plant a Plum and Mandarin trees.

  • One of my favorite past times is listening to music and while I was browsing around the net a few days ago, I came across this site that has links to listen to some of Perth's radio stations online. This excites me because now I get to listen to them here in Jakarta. Ahhh the beauty of technology, especially internet.

Last night, instead of going out to my friend's farewell party, I stayed home (I am still not feeling 100 % yet, my right ear is still plugged, has been for 5 days now) and spent my Friday night listening to 92.9 FM - Perth's Hit Music Station, 99.3 FM - ABC Triple J and 96.1 FM - It's All About Music while reading The Time Traveler's Wife. It was actually quite relaxing. I should do it more often.

Our wedding day is approaching soon. Jason and I really just can't wait to get this all over and done with and start the new chapter of our lives as husband and wife. Things are going well with the wedding. All the major stuff are all sorted, what's left for us to do is mostly payments stuff. We both would love to get all of this done by the end of November so when December comes we can just relax and enjoy the wedding.

    HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

  • I am back in Jakarta. My plane landed at around 6 am and got out of the airport around 6:30 am and got home around 7 am.

I won't lie that it feels strange being away from Jason and I miss him dearly it hurts but I just keep on telling myself that I can do this, that this is the last time that we'll ever have to be apart from each other for this long, that the next time I am back in Perth it will be a happy ending for both me and Jason.

I didn't get any sleep in the plane and right now I am too tired to sleep so I am just going to catch up on my shows until I fall asleep.

  • I am trying my hardest to go through this day with a smile on my face instead of a frown. Today is my last day in Perth and by tomorrow morning at 2:10 am I will be heading back to Jakarta. But one thing for sure is that I am not overly too sad about it I know that this will be our very last time being apart from each other because the next time I will be here (Dec 6th 2009) it will be a very happy ending for me and Jason.

Some of my friends asked me why I have to go back to Jakarta considering the wedding is coming up soon and the answer to that is I have a few things I need to do and take care of in Jakarta and plus I wanted to spend more time with my family and friends before my final big move to Perth in December.

Ok, that is all I want to write today. I got some packing and house cleaning to do.

  • Yesterday:

Jase: "Hon, where is ur glasses?"
    Me: "Why?"
Jase: "Cause u r squinting as u r watching the TV"
Me: "Really? I didn't realized that"

    This morning:

    Me: *coughs* *coughs* *coughs* *coughs*
Jase: "How are you feeling baby?"
Me: "My throat is hurting again"
Jase: "You still have your prescription from the last time?"
Me: "I think so, have to remember where I put it first"
Jase: "Well, if you feel worse later tonight, we will go back to the pharmacy for a repeat"
    Me: "Ok baby"

I love how attentive he is even to the smallest details, like noticing me squinting or offering to take me back to the pharmacy. Moments like those makes me realize how thankful and grateful I am having Jason in my life.
