  • A year ago today, Jason & I were celebrating our 1 1/2 years anniversary at the Hyatt Hotel when out of the blue he got down on one knee & asked me to marry him. I was so shocked that all I could respond was with a nod & a squeal. That has to be one of the best moments of my life. Thank you baby for making me the happiest woman in the world that day and for marrying me 10 months later. I ♥ you so very much

  • We had a great "date night" at Elmar's last night. Jason and I got all dressed up and I love how Jason's jaw dropped to the floor as he saw my outfit (it's awesome to know that I still have the touch ).

The food was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S, Jason had the pork shanks (as planned) and I had pork belly with Apple Strudel for desert and the beers were Y-U-M-M-Y. Overall we were one satisfied customers .

While we were having dinner there was this guy singing and he was incredible. He had such an amazing voice and was really good with the guitar. Right then and there I became a big fan. He was selling his debut CD so I bought it and asked him to signed the CD (which he did and it really made me giggle like a school girl):

His name is Ben Merito. He grew up in New Zealand and in 2008 he moved to Perth - Western Australia to pursue a full time music career. He is now an established solo artist within the Perth's music scene. (source: http://www.benmerito.com). I browsed him on YouTube and there is this video of him singing a Michael Jackson's song (Man In The Mirror). He did an awesome cover:

  • So we didn't buy anything from Myer's Department Store which is ridiculous cause we got a total of $250 gift voucher and we can't seem to find at least a single item that we both want. That shocked me. Oh well, we have two years to decide on what to buy from there so it's all good. LOL!!

Jason and I had such a great time at the Rugby Union game. Western Australia (WA) Force beat Queensland (QLD) Reds with the score of 32 vs 12. I wasn't too sad that the Reds lost, they tried their best and at least they scored some points. When we first got to the stadium I was feeling really giddy and excited because this game was my very first time of watching a LIVE sporting game / match. The Force are playing again next week and we might come to the game, we'll see.

We are dog sitting Dean's (Jason's best mate) dog this weekend. We picked her up after the game and so far she's been enjoying her stay at our house. She got a bit scared of sleeping alone in the living room last night so we moved her bed to our bedroom and told her that just for the night she could sleep with us.

^ Corn Head (yes that is actually her name)

Tonight Jason and I are going to be eating at one of our favorite restaurant called Elmar's In The Valley. It is a German themed brewery, restaurant, bar and small goods shop located in the heart of the Swan Valley (the area where we live). It has also the largest micro glass brewery in the southern hemisphere, with modern glass and copper kettles which can be seen through glass viewing windows by guests enjoying a drink at the bar. One of their signature dish is the pork shank (which Jason is planning on having. He is not eating any lunch right now so he can finish it all).

  • I would like to apologize to my husband for making him sound like an ass on the entry I wrote a couple of days ago. Sorry baby, I didn't mean to, I was just having one of my mood swings (you know how that goes).

Jason and I have a busy and fun day today:

We got some Gift Vouchers for our wedding present and we are going to spend our afternoon at Myer's Department Store for some shopping!! We don't know what we are going to get yet but we are both excited

And later tonight we are going to watch a LIVE game of Rugby Union (Western Australia vs Queensland). Jason will be cheering for WA and I will be cheering for QLD (mainly for these two reason: 1) I grew up there and 2) cause it will annoy Jason...LOL). To be honest I am not a big fan of Rugby Union nor do I understand what the game is all about but I know it'll be a fun new adventure for me so I'm really looking forward to this.

I am feeling a lot better today that I was yesterday. I blamed my PMS on the whole "feeling down" matter...damn mood swings...
